The joint venture is set to be dissolved, as reported by Atlas Air FreightWaves Polar Air Cargo operations and its employees will be moved to Atlas Air, while others will transition to DH L. It is noteworthy that Atlas has been the one to oversee the production of the final Boeing 747 at FAL in Everett, Washington. The last 747, which is a 747-8F and registered as N863GT, was completed on December 6,2022. Atlas Air received the plane on January 31,2023.
