Barbra Streisand Honors Paul McCartney on His Birthday

Barbra Streisand extended birthday greetings to Paul McCartney via a touching Instagram message.

The acclaimed actress commemorated the musical icon’s birthday with a social media post on June 18th. Her message included a nod to a beloved Beatles song.

Streisand’s caption, alongside a photo of herself and McCartney in a recording studio, read: “To Paul… Happy Birthday. I hope you’re celebrating with a little help from your friends… including me. xo Barbra. 🌹”

She also shared the image on her Instagram Stories, accompanied by the 1967 Beatles track, “With a Little Help from My Friends.”

Streisand and McCartney collaborated on a track for her upcoming album, “The Secret of Life Partners, Volume Two.” Their collaboration involved a cover of McCartney’s song, “My Valentine.”

McCartney described the recording session on his personal website, noting his initial apprehension despite working with a 40-piece orchestra on a soundstage named after Streisand.

He detailed the challenges of adapting the song’s key to accommodate both his and Streisand’s vocal ranges.

Despite the technical hurdles, McCartney praised Streisand’s creative depth and talent.

Prior to the single’s May release, Streisand expressed her delight at working with McCartney on Instagram, calling the studio experience “truly special.”

The release date for “The Secret of Life Partners, Volume Two” is set for June 27th.
