Gabbriette’s Daytime Smoky Eye: A Chic Summer Makeup Look

At the premiere of *I Know What You Did Last Summer*, Gabbriette showcased a captivating daytime smoky eye and a cool-toned brown lip. Her makeup artist, Melissa Hurkman, revealed the secrets behind this stunning look.

The model’s appearance on July 14th featured a makeup style perfect for summer months. This look is undoubtedly one to replicate.

The Makeup Inspiration

The 27-year-old collaborated with makeup artist Melissa Hurkman, using MAC cosmetics, to create a look that blended 90s inspiration with Gabbriette’s personal style.

Hurkman described the look as a daytime smoky eye with an upward lift, featuring warm brown liner at the inner and outer corners to highlight the eyes’ center. The skin was kept fresh and lightly covered, with a subtle blush. The ensemble was completed with her signature cool-toned brown lip.

Recreating the Look

Hurkman began by applying MAC’s Hyper Real Serumizer to balance and hydrate the model’s skin.

Next, she applied Strobe Cream in Pinklite to enhance the glow, followed by a thin layer of MAC Face and Body Foundation for even skin tone. Studio Radiance Concealer was used for targeted coverage, and Studio Fix Powder set the makeup. Finally, a soft blush completed the complexion.

For the eyes, Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Tailor Grey was used as a base, blended with a neutral grey eyeshadow to the outer corners. Blacktrack Fluidline was applied to the upper waterline for definition. Costa Riche Eye Kohl was applied to the inner and outer lower waterline, leaving the center open to create a halo effect.

Gabbriette’s Signature Lip Look

Gabbriette’s signature lip look was achieved using a Greige Lip Pencil softly blended with Lipglass Air in Instinct in the center for a cool-toned brown effect.
