His debut single, a unique rendition of Tom O’Dell’s “Heal,” debuted at number one on iTunes during the finale. This song is slated to be included on his upcoming album.

In June, Jamal performed at the 2025 BET Awards, sharing the stage with prominent gospel artists such as Kirk Franklin, Tamar Braxton, and Muni Long. His participation highlighted his versatility across music genres.

Jamal previously competed on BET’s Sunday Best, a gospel music competition, reaching the finals in Season 10. He’s now actively recording his debut album in Nashville, collaborating with renowned songwriter Christian Stalnecker, who has worked with numerous A-list artists.

Remarkably, Jamal is an opening act for Brandy and Monica’s “The Boy Is Mine” Tour, alongside Kelly Rowland and Muni Long. This nationwide tour, beginning in October, provides him with extensive exposure to a wider audience.
