The announcement, made via an official X post, unveiled additional artwork. The performance is titled “Everyone Gather! DJ Pikachu Live,” and will be exactly as described.
Witness DJ Pikachu Live? It’s Possible!
Although initially intended for the Japanese audience, the pre-show will be part of the global broadcast, making it accessible to international viewers.
Scheduled for July 22nd, the performance will air on YouTube at 9 am ET, 6 am PT. Numerous fan-made reaction videos are also expected shortly after the event concludes. Even if you miss the live stream, subsequent uploads will provide ample opportunity to view the show.
Next year marks the Pokémon franchise’s 30th anniversary. Given the time required for game development, major franchise installments are often previewed a year in advance. Therefore, the upcoming Pokémon Presents could include announcements of new main series Pokémon games.
