Zac Brown Band’s National Anthem at MLB Game: Fans Cheer “Outstanding” Performance!

Zac Brown Band Receives Rave Reviews for MLB All-Star Game National Anthem

Enthusiasm is high for Zac Brown Band fans! The country music group is preparing to release a new album, “Love & Fear,” later this year and has just announced a Las Vegas residency at the Sphere in December. Zac Brown, the band’s frontman, will also be a guest on the “New Heights” podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce on July 16th. But on July 15th, the band achieved a significant honor: performing the National Anthem at the MLB All-Star Game in their hometown of Atlanta.

The All-Star Game began with Kane Brown’s performance of “Georgia on My Mind,” followed by Ludacris and Jermaine Dupri singing “Welcome to Atlanta.” Lauren Spencer Smith then sang Canada’s National Anthem. Subsequently, the four-member Zac Brown Band delivered a harmonious rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Truist Park, captivating the league’s top players.

The MLB’s official Instagram account shared a video of the performance, eliciting an outpouring of positive feedback from country music enthusiasts.

Many fans expressed their appreciation. One fan declared, “An exceptional performance,” while another commented, “A beautifully performed rendition by Zac Brown Band!” Other comments included expressions of emotion, such as “Who else was moved to tears?”, and admiration, such as “That’s how it’s done!” One viewer even stated, “The anthem always sounds best with a country interpretation.”

Although the band’s twelfth studio album will not be released until December, a brand-new song featuring Snoop Dogg, titled “Let It Run,” will be available this Friday. The album also includes a duet with Dolly Parton, “Butterfly.”
