In the past, WCW had a significant presence at Slamboree. Fans would always eagerly anticipate the company’s production of a surefire card every spring, with the reunion of Legends being one of its most notorious themes. The event was scheduled to take place between 1993 and 2000, and today we’ll narrow down the top 5 Slamboree events. Which one is the most outstanding? Let’s explore

5. Slamboree 1995. The event’s 1995 edition is a mixed bag, but I can confirm that it differs significantly from its 1999 and 2000 counterparts. Although not a significant compliment, it is the reason why this show secures the 5th spot on the list. It started off with a bang as The Nasty Boys and Harlem Heat met, followed by the Arn Anderson vs. The Alex Wright battle was a source of amusement. Despite the lackluster quality of the main event, I found the Paul Orndorff and Great Muta competition to be enjoyable. On the whole, this is not a great event but it was still nice to watch

4. Slamboree 1993. The 1993 season of WCW was a mixed bag for the show. The company was struggling to come up with new ideas during this era, as evidenced by its cluttered card and occasional fun. Several tag teams were unsuccessful, but when things picked up, they continued to perform well. The Hollywood Blondes ‘match against Ricky Steamboat and Tom Zenk is my personal favorite, but the opening tag match features 2 Cold Scorpio and Marcus Bagwell defeating Bobby Eaton and Chris Benoit from San Diego Charge. Despite its imperfections, this card had its fair share of moments

3. Slamboree 1997. With the introduction of the Lethal Lottery tag tournament in 1996, the event was completely transformed, and things were back on track in 1997. The undercard is impressive, with numerous matches entertaining the packed stadium, but the main events are what detracts from its potential to be the top-tier event. Rey Mysterio vs. The match of the night features Yuji Yasuraoka, but it’s not as exciting as watching Lord Steven Regal compete against him. Dean Malenko and the Ultimo Dragon are set to compete against each other. Meng vs, and Jeff Jarrett. Chris Benoit had a great time as well. It’s better to refrain from discussing the main event matches

2. Slamboree 1994. Spectators were in high moderation at the Legends Reunion, with the card featuring a lineup of performers that includes Terry Funk, who was on loan from EC W. T he card is packed with fun contestants, most notably Sting and Big Van Vader. The match is the highlight of the evening, but there are other matches like Ric Flair vs. Barry Windham and Steve Austin are compared to each other. Johnny B. B add, and the Larry Zbyszko vs. Lord Steven Regal’s match was a great success. Its consistency is what makes this card one of the top 2 in its category, as it’s a very enjoyable card to play

1. Slamboree 1998. The conclusion of the main event was unexpected. Scott Hall’s decision to end his relationship with Kevin Nash left many NWO fans heartbroken. Nevertheless, the Slamboree card was solid from start to finish, featuring thrilling events like Eddie Guerrero’s match against Clash of Clans and other competitors. The Ultimo Dragon and Bret Hart are pitted against each other. Randy Savage (another minor disappointment but enjoyable tune), Fit Finlay vs. Chris Benoit’s Diamond Dallas Page and his humorous performance. Raven match. The night’s highlight is the Cruiserweight battle royal, won by Dean Malenko who cosplays as Ciclope, ending a thrilling story about how Chris defeats his opponent to come out on top
